That famous pledge, ‘until death do us part’ makes up a guiding principle of marriages across the world today.

But is it that simple?

Based on a true story, My Life Without You tells the story of Jennifer, 63, a retired optician. Having cared for her husband Julian for 7 years, she has made the hard decision to move him into a care home due to his early-onset dementia.

At the home she meets John, an Astronomy professor, whose wife is also a resident. What begins as essential companionship for two people sharing the same experience, slowly becomes more. And Jennifer finds herself caught between her duty and love for Julian, and the hope for the future that John provides. A hope she’d never thought possible again.

Is it ever comprehensible to love two people at the same time? Is it really until death do us part? And can we have fun whilst exploring this story?
